Day 1
We depart from southern Illinois and Paducah for the St. Louis airport. Our flight arrives in the “Big Apple,” New York City, this evening. We check into our hotel, Marriott Marquis Times Square.
Day 2
Breakfast this morning is at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, where “Stardusters,” the singing waitstaff, serenade us with iconic and new hit Broadway show tunes. After breakfast, the day is yours to explore! You may visit the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) or the Intrepid Museum. You may even decide to catch a Broadway matinee show. Dinner is included tonight before a Broadway Show. You have a choice between two different shows this evening. (B, D)
Day 3
Breakfast is on your own this morning: visit Junior’s right next door to the hotel, Starbucks on the bottom floor of the hotel, the Travel Trader’s Gift Shop Cafe located on the 8th floor of the hotel, or Krispy Kreme just a 3-minute walk away. We are joined by a Local Tour Guide for a Best of NYC Tour including stops at Greenwich Village, Grand Central Station, NYC Public Library, and the 9/11 Memorial. Returning to the hotel, we have time to rest and freshen up before dinner. Dinner tonight is at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company on Times Square, followed by our second evening Broadway Show. You have a choice between two different shows. (D)
Day 4
This morning and afternoon are yours to explore the city! Optional add-on tours include Statue of Liberty or Ellis Island, and a Central Park Stroll. Maybe you’d rather shop ’til you drop, visit a museum, or ride a hop-on/hop-off open-top bus. The options are almost endless. Dinner this evening is at Tony’s di Napoli Times Square, where we will enjoy award-winning family style Southern Italian fare, served with warm Italian hospitality. Tonight, we go together to see our final Broadway Show. (D)
Day 5
We depart Manhattan this morning, flying to Nashville, and arriving in Paducah and southern Illinois in the early evening. We take home with us memories of the sights of the city, the dazzle of Broadway, and new friendships.
