Magnolia Market at the Silos is a place where visitors have the unique opportunity to see a show they’ve grown to love come to life. HGTV’s Fixer Upper launched Joanna and Chip Gaines into the national spotlight. A new collection of original shows curated by Chip and Joanna Gaines are now available through discovery+ and the new Magnolia Network, including new episodes of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines, and more. Since the show’s success, they’ve expanded on their initial Magnolia Market concept which began as The Little Shop on Bosque and turned it into the beautiful 2.6-acre property that it is today. The property, located in the heart of downtown Waco, is home to Magnolia Market, Silos Baking Co., numerous food trucks, Magnolia Seed & Supply, the Big Green Lawn, Magnolia Press Coffee Shop, Magnolia Home, Chapter One, selling books and paper; No. 16, selling men’s provisions, Tried & True, selling bags and jewelry; Reverie, selling women’s clothing, Vie Bien Aimee, selling bath and body products and Juniper & Crew, selling kids and baby products. Magnolia Home features Decor and Lifestyle Goods Handpicked by Joanna Gaines.
Elements of an historic church have been relocated to the main area of the Silos grounds. Built in 1894, the original church is one of the oldest in Waco. For over 30 years, it had sat boarded up and vacant, which made Joanna and Chip all the more excited to be able to restore parts of its structure and give them a new purpose at the Silos, as a place where guests can sit and enjoy its beauty or just pass through.
There is a ballpark so families and friends can come play. There is also a concession stand, because a ballgame just isn’t the same without a snack in hand! Last but not least, there are more restrooms and more shade, along with a designated area for the food trucks. So—there are lots of things for you to see and do, even if you’ve been before!! And, don’t forget to visit Jimmy Don Holmes’ new store just down the street! Also, there is the free trolley that can take you to other shopping areas or perhaps to the Dr. Pepper Museum and to our hotel when you are through shopping and browsing.
