Enjoy time strolling through the beautifully maintained buildings and grounds. Continue to Saint John for a guided tour of the city including views of the Reversing Falls. Day 5

Following breakfast, we travel to Prince Edward Island. En route, we’ll visit Fundy National Park for a visit to the Hopewell Rocks. Then, cross the Confederation Bridge, arriving to Charlottetown and Canada’s Birthplace! Later, we’ll check into the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel for a relaxing two-night stay. Take some time to freshen up before we enjoy an included dinner tonight. (B, D)

Amidst the charm of Cheticamp, a vibrant Acadian fishing village, we soak in the captivating symphony of seafaring tales and vibrant hues that dance harmoniously, painting a vibrant portrait of coastal life. Travel through Ingonish, a popular resort town, and St. Ann’s, home of the Gaelic College of the Celtic Arts and Crafts and the only one of its kind in North America. Tonight, we enjoy another delicious dinner at our resort. (B, L, D)

Visit Peggy’s Cove Light, the only lighthouse of its kind which doubles as Peggy’s Cove post office. This afternoon, we return to Halifax for a visit to the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. This star-shaped fortification was completed in 1856 and stands on a hill overlooking downtown. Designed to block a land-based attack, this fort was never attacked. Enjoy a guided tour of the city, highlighting Fairview Lawn Cemetery where many victims of the tragic sinking of the Titanic lie in rest. There is also time to stroll through the beautifully manicured Halifax Public Gardens. Tonight, enjoy dinner at leisure at one of the many wonderful waterfront restaurants. (B)
