Alaska Diamond Princess 10-Night Denali Explorer

August 22 - September 1, 2012

Alaska is such a beautiful state and if you haven’t been to this area, you should definitely add it to your bucket list. AND be sure to visit the land portion, BECAUSE—Denali National Park is not to be missed. I have added three land days, this takes you to Fairbanks and Denali National Park and by domed train, as well, (you can’t miss the domed train!!) from Denali to the Diamond Princess. Princess Cruises offers only domed trains at no additional charge and it is an experience you must not miss.

The time of year that you visit Alaska is VERY IMPORTANT. Average temperatures in May, June, and late September can be very cold and wet and not a good experience even though the cost is less expensive. Most travelers are not going to visit Alaska more than once, so keep this in mind when you plan your trip to Alaska. And, Princess knows Alaska better than any other cruise line—on land and on the inside pas- sage, SO, please join me on this cruise in August (a great time!) as we visit Fairbanks, Denali National Park and cruise the Inside Passage to visit one of the most beautiful states in the United States.
