Hawaiian Adventure with Oahu, Kauai, and Maui

“ Leisure Stays" are tours in which the itineraries are designed to allow for multiple-night stays in two or more cities. This allows you a more leisurely pace and more time to explore the destinations on your own.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.

Day 1 Thursday, June 07, 2012
Arrive Honolulu, Oahu - Tour Begins Aloha! Your vacation in the sun-drenched Hawaiian Islands begins in Honolulu. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with a traditional Hawaiian floral lei and whisked off by private car to your Waikiki Beach hotel. Relax and “hang loose” - you are in Hawaii!

Day 2 Friday, June 08, 2012 - Oahu
This morning, “Remember Pearl Harbor” as you embark on an historic journey from the site of the attack to the USS Missouri where the Japanese signed the surrender in 1945. Begin at the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument to view artifacts from the attack and a short documentary on the “Day of Infamy.” Travel by naval launch to the white marble-clad USS Arizona Memorial. Next, explore the USS Missouri, the last battleship built by the U.S. Navy. The “Mighty Mo” served from World War II through Desert Storm. Your final stop is the Pacific Aviation Museum to see and learn about the aircraft involved in the attack during the war. After this poignant experience, take a city tour of Honolulu highlighting the historic Iolani Palace, the impressive state Capitol building, Kamehameha’s statue, and the moving National Cemetery of the Pacific, known as the Punchbowl. Day 3 Saturday, June 09, 2012 - Oahu
Spend a full day at leisure in paradise. Explore Waikiki, re- lax by the pool or enjoy optional visits to world-famous surf spots and the Dole Plantation. This evening, enjoy a night of spectacular entertainment at the Society of Seven show, voted the “Best Show in Waikiki.” Offering a spirited mixture of dance, show tunes, comedy acts and pop hits, this high-energy extravaganza is sure to put a smile on your face. Day 4 Sunday, June 10, 2012 - Oahu - Kauai
A short flight takes you to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai, the oldest island in the chain. Only here, on the outer islands, can you find the timeless world of ancient Polynesia. Upon arrival, visit Kilohana Plantation and ride on an authentic historic railway. Discover local culture and the history of this working farm as your guide highlights exotic fruits, vegetables and animals along your journey. (B, D)

Day 5 Monday, June 11, 2012 - Kauai
After breakfast, travel to breathtaking Waimea Canyon. Carved thousands of years ago by rivers and floods, each of the lines in the canyon walls represent a different volcanic eruption or lava flow. At ten miles long, one mile wide, and more than 3,500-ft deep, it is considered the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Later, visit the largest cof- fee estate in Hawaii and discover the coffee bean’s journey from tree to cup. Learn about sustainability practices and taste several of their coffees. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 6 Tuesday, June 12, 2012 - Kauai
The day is yours to enjoy this beautiful island at leisure. (B)

Day 7 Wednesday, June 13, 2012 - Kauai - Maui
Board an inter-island flight to the “Valley Isle” of Maui, one of the most beautiful and popular outer islands. Visit the stunning Iao Valley and view the 2,000 foot high Iao Needle, one of Maui’s famous natural land forms. Travel through sugar cane fields to the resort area of Kaanapali and arrive at your deluxe beachfront hotel. (B)

Day 8 Thursday, June 14, 2012 - Maui
Your day is at leisure to see for yourself why locals say “Maui no ka oi” " Maui is the best. You have the option to view the sunrise from the summit of Haleakala. You may also visit the old royal capital of Lahaina, once home of the world’s largest whaling fleets, where you can stroll through historic streets. You may also take an optional cliffside drive on the legendary Road to Hana. There is no limit to the adventures you can have on the gorgeous is- land of Maui! (B)

Day 9 Friday, June 15, 2012 - Maui
Enjoy another day in paradise. You may take a stroll along the beach, shop for souvenirs or just relax at your luxurious Maui resort. Tonight, cap off your wonderful vacation with a farewell dinner Hawaiian-style at a traditional Polynesian Luau featuring drinks, dinner, music and a hula show. (B, D)
